Lighting, is key when there is any type of video recording. Lighting, is especially important during news reporting. When lighting is not ideal production crews have plenty of tactics they can use to improve a lighting situation. One of the instruments they use is a, reflector disk. The reflector disk is positioned in a way that the sun bounces off of the disk, and the light is reflected to the subject on camera. In the pictures below; Nia is the subject that the light is reflecting on, Chantelle is acting as the cameraman, Emanuel is holding the reflector disk, and I took the pictures.
In this project I learned that lighting can always be improved, even on a sunny day. Below is a link on more information about how reflector disks are used, and another link is tagged so you can see where you can buy a reflector disk.
